Dr. Khaled Deeb has earned a PhD in Computer Science from Florida International University, an MBA from the University of Florida, an MD from the American University of the Caribbean, and a residency training in Internal Medicine from University of Miami. He served as the program director and an Associate Professor at Barry University in Miami, in the department of Information Technology. He had supervised faculty and staff, designed and taught courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. He has profound skills in the areas of business management, data structure and mining, software engineering and computer programming, artificial intelligence, and research methodologies. He has published several peer-reviewed articles in leading publications and chaired several conferences and workshops. He has also collaborated on interdisciplinary research projects and grant writing with various universities and government entities (e.g., CDC). He is an expert consultant at both the private and public sectors in the fields of health services, business management, and information technologies. He has earned several awards for scholarship, community service, professional service, and teaching excellence. His current research projects include redefining the future of medicine and patient care through personalized medicine and intelligent healthcare informatics, as well as improving well-being, self-esteem, and confidence by bringing together the science of medicine and informatics.
